The Manufacturing Training Technician serves as a crucial catalyst in developing Intel's manufacturing workforce, equipping team members with essential competencies to thrive in our rapidly evolving production environment. Core Responsibilities:
Training Plan Management: Develop comprehensive training plans for operational and equipment training programs, including planning, scheduling, delivery, and trainee evaluation processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal customers to identify training requirements, consolidate requests, and create accurate training forecasts. Coordinate equipment access, training logistics, and program execution for both new and existing manufacturing tools based on business requirements.
System Administration: Oversee manufacturing technician training databases, maintaining accurate certification records and progress tracking for operational personnel.
Cross-Training Coordination: Collaborate with Shift Managers and Supervisors to facilitate technician cross-training initiatives, conduct assessments, and ensure timely certification completion according to established schedules.
Knowledge Transfer: Rapidly absorb technical information from Engineers and effectively translate complex concepts into accessible training for manufacturing technicians.
Mentorship and Coaching: Demonstrate patience and strong mentoring capabilities while guiding trainees and supporting fellow trainers within the team.
Quality Excellence: Maintain rigorous quality standards, actively identify process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve training-related challenges and escalations.
Program Support: Actively participate in peer trainer development initiatives, safety programs, quality assurance efforts, compliance audits, and continuous improvement projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in training development, facilitation, or manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in training plan development and implementation.
Functional knowledge of tracking systems for training records and completion data.
Proficient in English communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Factory operation knowledge, equipment troubleshooting or with operations, equipment or engineering training certifications will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to evaluate training effectiveness.
Proficiency in facilitating training sessions and engaging diverse audiences.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proven ability to adapt training plans and processes to dynamic manufacturing environments.
