Home-Based Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Representative

The DCX Client Services Home-Based Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Representative will be a part of a dynamic and collaborative finance team committed to enhancing collection efforts and driving continuous improvements for the business. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection processes and assisting the client with overall accounts receivable operations. Primarily business-to-business collections with extensive reconciliations of high-volume transactions, while maintainingeffective communication with customers and providing great customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.

• Processing credit card payments for customer’s accounts

• Handling the orders requiring pre-payment

• Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations

• Releasing orders from credit hold, following company policy and procedures

• Entering New Customers  

• Assisting with daily invoicing and Month End Reports

• Enter the daily deposits and reconciliation

• Assist in the processing and setting up of new account applications, pulling credit reports, sending trade references

• Must be proficient in Word and Excel

• Cross train in the different functions within the department

• Other duties as assigned

• Ad hoc tasks aligned with those mentioned above.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 

• Experience: 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting experience, or equivalent. 

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software. 

• Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:  

• 3 to 5 years of credit and collections experience, with strong negotiation skills with commercial accounts (promotional product industry would be an asset)    

•  High level of attention to detail and accuracy

•  Possess a customer focused attitude and the ability to listen to customer needs

•  Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency

•   Strong follow up skills

•  Strong MS Office skills

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service focus

•   Able to work independently or as part of a team

WHAT WE OFFER

• Salary Range: Php 37,500- Php 40,000 

• Job Type: Full-time

• Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
