Comment vous allez créer un impact :

• Être responsable de la souscription de la gamme complète de produits d’assurance accident maladie afin de maximiser leur rentabilité (par exemple, préparer des devis d’assurance pour les nouvelles propositions et les avenants et souscrire tous les renouvellements de polices attribués) en tenant compte de tous les facteurs liés au compte.

• Déterminer l’admissibilité du risque conformément aux lignes directrices et aux normes de la compagnie.

• Déterminer la tarification pertinente en fonction de l’analyse financière et concurrentielle.

• Préparer les devis d’assurance et répondre aux questions des courtiers, des assurés ou d’autres personnes ressources externes et acheminer les problèmes à la direction en proposant des solutions au besoin.

• Participer à des réunions et présenter des renouvellements/devis aux courtiers et aux clients, le cas échéant.

• Négocier avec les courtiers afin d’obtenir des résultats positifs et rentables.

• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le service des ventes pour établir et maintenir des relations avec les courtiers et les clients.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir :

• Posséder au moins trois (3) ans d’expérience en souscription dans le secteur de l’assurance accident maladie collective ou l’équivalent

• Posséder d’excellentes aptitudes en communication verbale et écrite, en anglais et en français pour communiquer avec les clients/courtiers anglophones et francophones.

• Être capable d’interagir efficacement avec tous les échelons de partenaires commerciaux internes et externes d’AIG.

• Être en mesure de gérer efficacement la charge de travail, notamment en période de forte activité et de délais serrés.

• Avoir obtenu ou être en voie d’obtenir la désignation PAA (Professionnel d’assurance agréé) ou FPAA (Fellow, Professionnel d’assurance du Canada), de la LOMA ou du programme CEBS est un atout.

AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact:

• Responsible for underwriting full line of Accident & Health products in order to maximize profitability (e.g. quote new business opportunities & endorsements and underwrite all assigned renewals) by considering all factors related to the account.

• Determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

• Determine appropriate pricing based on financial and competitive analysis.

• Prepare quotes and answer questions from brokers, policyholders or other external contacts and escalate issues to management along with proposed solutions as necessary.

• Attend meetings and present renewals/quotations to brokers and clients when required

• Negotiate with brokers to reach positive and profitable outcomes.

• Works closely with Sales to develop and maintain broker/client relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accident and Health/Group insurance industry or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French to communicate with both anglophone and francophone clients/brokers.

• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of AIG’s internal and external business partners.

• Ability to manage workload effectively, especially during times of high activity and tight timelines.

• Attainment or working towards CIP/FCIP, LOMA or CEBS designation is considered an asset
