Join Ecolabās industryāleading Food & Beverage team as Sales and Service Representative, a role focused on delivering exceptional technical service, sanitation expertise, and operational efficiency to our customers.
You will provide a dual focus on sales development and technical consultation, partnering directly with food, beverage, and dairy manufacturers to improve food safety, enhance quality standards, and optimize plant performance.
You will collaborate closely with plant teams, ensure proper use and performance of Ecolab solutions, and act as a trusted advisor in sanitation, safety, and operational excellence.
Position: Sales and Service Representative, Food & Beverage Division
Location: Romania ā Bucharest
⢠Deliver technical service and onāsite support at customer facilities.
⢠Proactively drives sales growth by nurturing existing client relationships, conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities, and engaging with new prospects to expand our customer base.
⢠Ensure optimal plant performance, achieving TCO (Total Cost of Operations) targets.
⢠Develop a strong understanding of Ecolab products, plant operations, customer processes, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
⢠Provide expert guidance on sanitation, safety, quality and operational procedures, including sanitation plans and programs, SOP evaluations, process optimization, and employee training.
⢠Manage Ecolab chemicals, equipment, and systems: participate in installations, test equipment performance, adjust chemical parameters, troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs, monitor stock levels and manage inventory.
⢠Implement commitments for corporate accounts, collaborating with the Contract Manager and District Manager F&B.
⢠Build strong relationships with plant personnel at all levels and communicate effectively across functions.
⢠Maintain compliance with Ecolab safety standards and complete all incident reporting requirements.
⢠University degree in dairy, food, agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology or related technology fields.
⢠At least 3 years of experience in F&B processing/manufacturing OR minimum 2 years in technical sales within industrial/manufacturing environments.
⢠Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
⢠Valid Category B driving license.
⢠Availability for travel within the assigned territory.
⢠Knowledge of microbiology and food safety processes.
⢠Ability to interact confidently with national and multinational customers.
⢠Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic technical interventions.
⢠Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
