We are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Your Responsibilities:
The Project Scheduler plays a key role within the Operations Planning & Control group, managing project schedules that visually organize all required tasks of a project in order to track project progress, identify key schedule risks before they cause project execution delays, and serve as a project execution guide for Operations Planning & Control, the Project Team and Operations.
Salary: $59,700.00 - $99,500.00 per year

Your Challenge:
Support the Operations Planning & Control group, Project Teams, and Operations with Critical Chain project schedules that are maintained at a level of detail needed to provide accurate schedule progress and estimated completion dates.
Utilize Theory of Constraints methodology to identify project and shop constraints and incorporate these into project schedules to visualize the impacts of these constraints and maintain schedule accuracy.
Identify and help to mitigate project risks that may impact the project schedule, including project set-up activities, material delays, and manufacturing pre-requisites.
Determine and manage project schedule buffers to protect the customer commitment dates from being impacted by project, shop and resource constraints and other identified risks.
Measure and analyze project buffer status to monitor project schedule health and identify when recovery actions may be needed to preserve buffer and protect the customer commitment dates.
Actively lead and participate in various Project Team meetings to communicate project schedule health and identify upcoming project team tasks and project risks that are tracked and managed through the project schedules.
Determine, track and maintain project prerequisite activities, work order status and material shortages within the project schedules to ensure on-time starts of project tasks and preserve project buffer.
Provide inputs to Project/Program Management related to upcoming invoice point and budgeted shop hour projections for use in monthly project budget analysis.
Ensure alignment between project schedule completion dates and ERP/MRP schedule dates to keep project plans and manufacturing plans aligned.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or other related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Microsoft Project and other MS Office programs.
Understanding of MRP/CRP principles, Bills of Materials, Routings, Manufacturing processes, Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
Ability to utilize statistical data analysis and other problem-solving skills to break down issues, interpret data, and provide recommended actions.
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
