The RFID Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RFID systems. The primary focus will be to ensure proper implementation of RFID technology in a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with the IT team to integrate RFID systems with existing infrastructure and provide technical support to end-users. at the Grants Pass MBC Plant as and manages the health and wellbeing of the RFID system.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain RFID systems, including hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose RFID system issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Create and update online documentation & Knowledge Base to assist in setup.
- Understand / communicate complex configuration scenarios both internally and externally.
- Conduct RFID system testing and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Investigate discrepancies, determine cause, and take appropriate action.
- Ensure RFID readers are active and working properly.
- Work with MBC management, IT, and employees on system issues/questions/concerns.
- Provide training and support for the system to the plant personnel.
