This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of powder products, while adhering to all operating procedures and safety regulations. The Operator will monitor equipment, control process parameters, and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor processing equipment, including mills, classifiers, and dryers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Control process parameters such as feed rates, temperatures, and airflows to maintain product quality and consistency.
Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or potential problems, and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Adjust equipment and process parameters as needed to optimize production and address any deviations from specifications.
Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment status, and process parameters.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to processing and material handling.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and work with maintenance personnel to resolve any issues.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize powder processing operations and reduce costs.
Utilize barcode scanning systems to track and manage inventory movement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling and storage within the processing area.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in using process control systems and data acquisition software.
Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) safely and efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with production teams, maintenance personnel, and supervisors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related manufacturing environment
Systems: CMMS

Lift up to 60 lbs.
Push/pull 100 lbs.

Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)
Cambria’s starting salary hourly range for this position is $22.00- $30.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods.
