As Senior Social Media Manager, you will manage and execute organic social media strategies that align with business goals and elevate Blackbaudâs brand presence across platforms.Youâllplay a key role in activating our AI leadership positioning,develop content tailored for social channels,manage day-to-day publishing and engagement,monitorsentiment and performance, and support campaign-level social activation.
This role requires anunderstanding of social media ecosystems within the B2B and tech space, a passion for content creation, and a strong grasp of how to use emerging technologiesâincluding AI toolsâto scale brand voice and engagement. ContentCreation& Execution
Develop, produce, and edit socialâfirst contentâincluding graphics, shortâform video, and platformâoptimized copyâthat brings established campaign and social strategies to life.
Adapt existing marketing, product, and thought leadership content into social-friendly formats.
Execute publishing across channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.),maintaininga highquality, consistent brand presence.
Partner closely with the Social Strategist and Brand Marketing Manager to manage editorial calendars and ensuretimelyexecution of campaignsand content.
Community& ChannelManagement
Monitor and respondin real-timeto comments, messages, and community conversationsin clear,US-styleEnglish tomaintaina consistent and credible brand voice.
Provide frontline customer care through social channels in partnership with Customer Support.
Build meaningful community relationships and elevate opportunities for brand advocacy.
Monitor channels daily toidentifyemerging risks, sentiment shifts, and engagement patterns.
Support the program and content management of Blackbaudâs employee advocacytoolscontent needs as relevant.
Reporting & Performance Insights
Track, analyze, and report onchannel and campaign performance using analytics and monitoring tools.
Share actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Support measurement ofbrand sentiment and reputation trends.
WhatYouâllBring (Qualifications)
Required
5â7+years of social media management experienceÂ
Proven experience creating social-first content across formats (graphic, shortform video, copywriting)using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similardesign and video-editing tools.
Deep understanding of social platforms, best practices, and audience behaviors.
Experience with community management and customer care on social channels.
Proficiencywith social analytics, monitoring, and content scheduling tools (Sprinklr, Sprout, or similar).
Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in afast-pacedenvironment.
Ability to work independently, collaborate across time zones, andmaintaina high bar for quality.
Direct experience with social media content for apredominantly NorthAmerican audience.Â
Preferred
Experience working with global or enterpriselevelB2B and techbrands.
Familiarity with executive social programs or advocacy platforms (e.g., Sprout Advocacy).
Comfort using AI tools to scale content production, ideation, or copywriting.
Experience withproject management tools (Asana or similar).
