Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customer and to company operating procedures.
- Sets up and operates abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment to prepare assemblies and details to acceptable cosmetic and dimensional requirements.
- Use hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications.
- Uses chemicals, such as, but not limited to; chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for the preparation of parts for the next process.
- Prepares parts for curing in ovens in preparation for molding operations.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
