Role Summary

As, Ground Network Service Europe is responsible for overseeing the procurement, implementation, and operation efficiency of our linehaul network throughout Europe. The position plays a crucial role in assisting with network design, improving connections, and determining the optimal amount, placement, and type of capacity to ensure cost efficiency while driving operational excellence and productivity. This role also oversees compliance with local and international legislation related to asset rotation and scheduling of fleet vehicles.

What you’ll do

• Lead the strategy, design, and optimization of the European linehaul network
• Oversee day‑to‑day operational performance, KPIs, and exception management
• Manage capacity planning, contingencies, and seasonal demand fluctuations
• Lead carrier procurement, RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and performance reviews
• Own the regional transportation budget, costing models, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with EU/UK transport legislation, safety, and risk standards
• Drive data‑led decision‑making, systems adoption, and continuous improvement
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing regional team and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions
