Role:
- Day to day involvement in development of project design activities and production from the early stage design, through technical design development, to the construction documentation.
Design Management and Team Leadership:
- Adhere to project deadlines.
- Maintain the design quality standards.
- Deliver the project under the guidance of Senior Interior Designer (SD) and/or Design Manager (DM) and occasionally Head of Department (HOD).
- Participate in the implementation of the project execution plan.
- Participate in the preparation of the projectsâ list of deliverables.
- Communicate when needed with project stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors) to manage expectations and drive success.
- Participate in managing larger teams, mentoring team members at IDI, IDII level based on experience, demonstrating a greater responsibility and ownership of output of others as allocated by SD and above.
- Participate in more complex large scale projects in line with experience
Design & Technical Expertise:
- Contribute to preparation of project/sâ concept design preparation including but not limited to:
- Design Delivery plan (Assist SD/DM/HOD)
- Design Management Plan (Assist SD/DM/HOD)
- Presentation/s
- Drawings and reports
- Collaborate with SD on complex design challenges and ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop project deliveries while maintaining highâquality design documents and construction drawings.
- Develop project list of deliverables in line with the project contract brief.
- Assist in the review of code compliances and materials/ systems selection.
- Participate in the design coordination process within Architecture team and with other disciplines (in house or external design partners: civil, structure, MEP, ID, Landscape, vertical transportation, & other specialistsâ consultant)
- Develop project BIM Models and production of Design documents/reports.
- Maintain the modelsâ BIM quality level in coordination with the BIM Coordinator / Manager.
- Implement successfully the project of the BIM Execution plan.
- Accountable for successful project delivery meeting the targeted deadlines.
- Accountable for maintaining the project deliverables in Quality expected given level of experience.
- Accountable for efficient planning and utilization of projectâs manâhours assigned by team leader and the management of other members of the team as allocated by SD and above.
