Job Summary:
The Planner/Scheduler specializes in using Primavera P6 for scheduling. The PCA takes charge of managing SAP. For smaller projects, the PCA is a multi-tasker, handling both P6 scheduling and SAP tasks like closing WBS, Project Progress reports , invoicing clients, and maintaining project schedules.
He also creates and maintains the schedule using input from various departments and the Project Manager. They monitor and control project activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:
Tasks During Planning Phase:
- Develop the initial project schedule based on the contract and kickoff meeting discussions.
- Identify contractual milestones and dependencies between stakeholders.
- Identify the critical path and total float.
- Freeze the project schedule during the Project Planning Set Up meeting.
- Schedule Updates During Execution Stage:
- Conduct regular project schedule reviews with project stakeholders.
- Update the schedule based on progress reports and decisions from project reviews.
- Track progress of tasks and update the baseline as needed.
- Document all project changes (e.g., change orders, staff changes, delays) for future reference.
