Key Accountabilities or Responsibilities:
- Ensure site compliance with Environmental Permit, License and Contract requirements, including implementation of the Environmental Management Plan and EM&A programme.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and auditing, liaising with Environmental Consultant and relevant parties as needed.
- Provide environmental training, supervise site staff, and monitor environmental performance.
- Identify and rectify potential environmental hazards through regular site inspections.
- Attend environmental committee meetings and advise on environmental management system implementation.
- Apply for and manage environmental licenses and permits as required.
