Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the generation of business opportunities by developing key accounts, visiting existing and potential clients, identifying new market opportunities, and strategically planning territory coverage to ensure strong and sustainable market presence.
- Review and analyze client inquiries, specifications, and technical requirements; conduct site visits and detailed field assessments to define optimal solutions and influence customer decision-making.
- Develop and lead the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals, including product selection, dosage rates, and application methods, in coordination with the Veolia Technical Department and relevant technical standards and manuals.
- Lead negotiations and follow up on submitted proposals, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, commercial objectives, and company profitability targets.
- Review and validate customer orders to ensure full compliance with approved proposals, technical feasibility, and delivery and service capabilities.
- Act as a key technical and commercial advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and positioning Veolia as a trusted solutions provider.
- Support and guide junior sales engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, coaching, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Participate in key customer meetings, prepare and present detailed sales activity, pipeline, and performance reports to management.
- Contribute to sales strategy, market development plans, and business growth initiatives in coordination with the Chemical Business Manager.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Chemical Business Manager or his delegate.
