Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures to protect employees and the environment and ensure regulatory and company standard compliance.
Provide day-to-day EHS technical support to assigned sites through regular field presence, coaching leaders and employees on safe work practices, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation.
Assist with incident investigations, near-miss reviews, and serious event learning activities by applying Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) principles; identifying system-level contributing factors; evaluating control effectiveness; and leading or supporting structured problem-solving efforts (e.g., Learning Teams, PDCAs) to develop and track sustainable corrective actions.
Participate in EHS audits, assessments, and inspections; document findings, support action planning, and follow up on corrective action closure to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
Support Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) risk identification and reduction efforts, including hazard analysis, control verification, and evaluation of control quality.
Deliver and support EHS training, orientations, and refresher programs; reinforce expectations through field engagement and coaching.
Collect, analyze, and summarize EHS data and leading indicators to support reporting, dashboards, and leadership decision-making.
Support regulatory compliance activities, including recordkeeping, reporting, and coordination during inspections or agency interactions under senior EHS guidance.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and other partners to integrate EHS considerations into daily operations, projects, and change management activities.
Support contractor safety programs, including onboarding, field observations, and compliance with site-specific EHS requirements.
