Wonderful Scholar Summer Internship, Post-Harvest Research and Development

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. This position will be based on site (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here's what you'll do:

• Be an active member of the Postharvest team, supporting day-to-day initiatives
• Develop trial protocols and assist with conducting trials related to postharvest treatments and quality management
• Support the investigation of recurring outages within treatment application systems
• Participate in Postharvest meetings and cross-functional discussions
