Summer Internship, Farming

Overview:

Wonderful Citrus Internship Program offers hands-on experience in the field with mentorship from experienced professionals. Our objective is to provide an educational paid internship experience, at the undergraduate level, that is directly related to the students’ goals to best prepare them for real world employment demands and responsibilities.

Here's what you'll do: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting farm field supervisors with daily tasks and projects
• Assisting existing management staff in evaluating, analyzing, designing, and maintaining all Farming Department data
• Assimilating and analyzing production and farm-related data such as yield, size and quality information
• Participate in planning and coordinating agricultural activities to optimize efficiency
• Assist in identifying and addressing field-level maintenance issues related to irrigation systems
• Support management with scheduling and coordination of irrigation functions to ensure effective water management
