Summary:Provides leadership across the organization in all areas of financial matters, including ensuring timely financial closes, financial reporting, budget preparation and variance analysis, all requiring a strong foundation in cost accounting concepts. Leads the preparation of and cross-functional alignment on operational and financial KPIs., while maintaining a system of strong internal controls leading to reliable and accurate financial statements, audit readiness and conformity in accounting practices with IFRS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
- Manage and direct the Finance and Accounting team.
- Responsible for the month end closing process.
- Prepare reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in the areas of income; expenses; and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Maintain a documented system of controls over accounting transactions, policies and procedures.
- Lead the preparation of department budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
- Provide management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
- Lead the Annual Physical Inventory
- Manage the Company鈥檚 capital budget for PP&E.
- Ensure the proper classification, appropriate valuation and existence for all balance sheet accounts, through monthly reconciliations.
- Timely resolution of unreconciled account variances.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies and the Corporate office, including sales & use tax, fixed asset impairments, environmental reporting requirements and other financial attestations.
- Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
- Other duties with the work as assigned.
