Lead and develop a high-performing team of 8–10 multidisciplinary engineers through mentorship, training, performance management, and strong technical guidance.
Own the full New Product Development (NPD) process, driving cross-functional collaboration from concept and design through prototyping, qualification, and initial production.
Champion strategic improvement initiatives, including design tool development, process standardization, and adoption of engineering best practices to boost efficiency and product quality.
Contribute to the Engineering Technology Roadmap, ensuring new projects align with company strategy, customer requirements, and core engineering and manufacturing principles.
Review and approve technical deliverables such as design packages, compliance matrices, customer documentation, and project schedules to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to requirements.
Manage to engineering cost estimates, collaborating with partner teams to improve accuracy, transparency, and meet recurring cost targets.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external), including executives, operations, sales, quality, suppliers, and customers to maintain alignment, ensure transparency, and support timely decision-making.
Strengthen communication and knowledge sharing across Engineering and the broader organization.
