We are seeking a Contract Junior Production Engineer to join our production team in Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and optimisation of manufacturing processes whilst ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with experienced engineers and production staff to contribute to the efficient operation of our production facilities.
- Assist in the analysis and optimisation of production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste • Monitor production equipment operation and identify potential maintenance issues or performance anomalies • Collaborate with production teams to implement engineering solutions and resolve operational challenges
- Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and work instructions • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout production operations • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process optimisation • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to production management and cross-functional teams • Assist in the training and induction of new production personnel on equipment and procedures
