Job Summary
- Responsible for supervising quality activities in given particular disciplines in accordance with quality management system established by QC Manager.
- Planning, controlling and performing inspections and tests on discipline responsible and managing inspectors in the disciplines for which they're responsible.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitoring work performance according to a result of risk management.
- Managing work performance on particular discipline as per applicable work process.
- Managing actual result of Quality Performance Indicator.
- Coordinating and monitoring with other discipline required to provide corrective action.
- Liaising and solving with clients on Quality related matters such as Quality Issue and NCR (non-compliance record), Observation.
- Managing work activity through system management tool like FMCS (Facility Monitoring and Control System), SCMS (Supply Chain Management System).
- Identifying and mitigate quality risks.
- Conducting audits and inspections.
Discipline Specific
- Application of Structural engineering principles and practices.
- Design and construction of steel structures.
- Implementing Steel structure codes and standards (e.g. AISC).
- Understanding of steel structure drawings and specifications.
- Quality control and inspection techniques for steel structures.
