General Characteristics (Job Summary)
Shall be responsible for the pre- and post-inspections of all equipment鈥檚, temporary camp and Office/site connections during construction for its electrical integrity and compliance with project and international standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establishing random and periodic inspection plans and maintaining of record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards.
- Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools.
- Be pro-active and strive to find potential risks and take preventive actions.
- Directly report all deviations noticed to direct EHSS reporting authority and executing team for implemented corrective actions.
- Ensure all equipment鈥檚 comply with regard to electrical standards.
- Works hand in hand with different teams and personnel on the assigned task.
- Supervise, inspect, and sign inspection certificates for all equipment鈥檚/panels/devices incompliance with the established Project guidelines.
- Ensure load bearing capacities for each electrical equipment complies.
- Ensure a periodic inspection schedule established, communicated, and complied with by sub-contractors.
- Ensure only connections and equipment鈥檚 used are complying with industrial standards.
