Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix.
Managing and performing inspection of Mechanical discipline.
Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.
Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR).
Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded.
Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix.
Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix).
Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly.
Performing and coordinating inspection with client.
Carry out QC Supervisor鈥檚 responsibility in their absence.
Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team.
Review and track material submittals required for Mechanical Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings.
Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Mechanical Definable Features of Work.
Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team.
Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials.
Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted.
Monitor and inspect specific Mechanical related activities such as site erection of static and rotating equipment.
Ensure critical mechanical activities such as rotating equipment flange parallelism, final alignment and final inspection to be conducted as per Contract, Specification and Requirements.
