Job Summary
- Contribute to the improvement of the site quality by handling quality issues on the site in general according to the corporate and project quality standards
- Responsible for maintaining quality activities in accordance with quality management system established
- Carrying out inspections on discipline, responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result
- Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix
Roles and Responsibilities
- Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix
- Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix)
- Preparing the Inspection records to be reflected on MC Doc.
- Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly
- Performing and coordinating inspection with client
- Carrying out QC Supervisor鈥檚 responsibility in his/her absence
- Conducting Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to discipline Definable Features of Work.
Discipline Specific
- Understanding of piping materials, fittings, and connections
- Applying Piping codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.3, API 570)
- Piping fabrication and installation methods and techniques
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques for piping
- Inspection and testing of piping systems
- Piping documentation requirements
- Hydrostatic test package preparation and control
