Responsibilities:
I. Design teaching plans and excel at teaching your subject (60% time)
- Design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans - and contribute to the central Curriculum
- Teach subjects of your expertise and achieve stellar outcomes
- Design and conduct regular assessments to monitor learning and analyze data to improve the school
- Define and lead the building of a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
- Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement
II. Coordination of School and Organization Projects (30% time)
- Coordinate and lead the highest impact projects in school, such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness, Annual Day, Sports Day, etc.
- Serve as iTeach Subject Team Coordinators, Grade Team Coordinators, and iTeach Interviewers
- Coordinate relationships with government officials, neighboring schools, and the iTeach Network Team
- Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor newer teachers
III. Mentoring students (10% time)
- Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
- Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel - share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
