Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution
- Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of regional events across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on the EMEA Canalys Forum in Barcelona.
- Deliver five-star event experiences tailored to senior-level audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event goals, themes, and target audiences, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Budget Management
- Oversee a budget exceeding $2 million, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strategic allocation of funds.
- Monitor and report budget status to the department head and VP of Events, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Define and implement KPIs to measure event success and impact, ensuring continuous improvement.
P&L Impact
- Leverage data insights to make informed resource allocation decisions.
- Understand and communicate the impact of events on overall company performance.
Vendor Management and Negotiation
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate vendor contracts to optimize costs and maintain quality.
- Serve as the regional point of contact for supplier issues, fostering strong relationships and addressing concerns promptly.
- Identify potential risks associated with events and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
