The Catering Lead plans, organizes and executes the catering business for an Eataly location. Reports to the Catering Manager.
- Creates proposals, contracts, event orders and packages tailored to each guest鈥檚 requests
- Negotiates executive partnerships to sell catering packages for breakfast, lunch, dinner and largescale events
- Oversees catering events from start to finish: books, plans and executes functions
- Executes all off-site catering for offices and VIP clients, coordinating delivery services and pickup business
- Acts as a trainer for team members on catering operations
- Communicates product and staffing needs for catering events on a daily basis
- Manages catering call-backs from orders delivered same day to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
- Handles and resolves complaints/accolades and communicates results to managers
- Ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked in the store at all times: catering menus, catering table, business cards, etc.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
