We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Butcher to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Head Butcher, you will lead our meat department, ensuring the highest quality of products and customer satisfaction in our bustling establishment.
- Oversee daily operations of the butchery department, including staff management and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and local regulations
- Expertly cut, prepare, and display a wide variety of meats according to customer preferences
- Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain relationships with meat suppliers
- Train and mentor junior butchers in proper cutting techniques and customer service
- Provide expert advice to customers on meat selection, preparation, and cooking methods
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all meat products
- Collaborate with other departments to create special offerings and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new products or techniques as appropriate
- Familiarise yourself with local meat preferences and Vietnamese cuisine to cater to our diverse clientele
