We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join our luxury hotel in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will support the daily operations of the Front Desk and hotel communication teams, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and hotel communication teams, maintaining a high standard of guest service
- Act as a leader on the floor, greeting guests, addressing concerns professionally, and serving as Manager on Duty when required
- Ensure the lobby and public areas maintain a consistently polished, luxury presentation
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify opportunities for service recovery and presentation enhancement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified and welcoming arrival experience
- Assist in preparing schedules and coordinating shift coverage to support optimal guest service
- Support the induction, mentoring, and ongoing training of colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence
- Promote an engaging team environment by recognising success and offering constructive feedback
- Monitor and analyse guest feedback to enhance service strategies and guest satisfaction
- Maintain close collaboration with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams
- Ensure compliance with all safety, emergency, and cash-handling protocols
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency
