Accounting & Finance
路 Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department
. Ensure schedules and reconciliation are completed timely and accurately
.Drive cost efficiency initiatives
路 Direct and coordinate hotel financial planning, forecast and budget management functions
路 Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
路 Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
路 Prepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses
路 Analyze financial outlooks and prepare financial forecasts
路 Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
路 Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
路 Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
路 Maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department鈥檚 goals and objectives
路 Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues
路 Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
路 Conduct regular checks on procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, food preparing and portioning
Team Management
路 Interview, select and recruit direct reports
路 Identify and develop team members with potential
路 Conduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the management team
路 Constantly monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalism
路 Work with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling and development of team members according to the changing needs of the business
路 Conduct monthly departmental meetings to provide information to team members, obtain their feedback, rectify issues
Other Responsibilities
路 Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
路 Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
路 Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
路 Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management
Knowledge and Experience
路 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Accounting / Finance
. Experience in hospitality industry will be highly preferred
路 Additional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantage
路 Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
路 High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen
路 Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
路 Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems
