To participate as a member of management in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans, and advise on the financial, administrative and legal implications of all matters being implemented and reviewed.
Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.
Establish or recommend to management major economic objectives, strategies aimed at cost minimization and maximization of revenue opportunities, and evaluate the impact of business decisions where necessary.
Provide support and advice to the General Manger to meet bottom line objectives.
Support General Manager by direct preparation of monthly and annual reports to summarize and forecast the hotel鈥檚 revenues, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.
In conjunction with the General Manager, the DFA is responsible for compliance with:
Relevant contractual and legal obligations;
Hotel Finance Policies;
The Hotel Management Contract;
All other Pullman Corporate Policies.
Manage the preparation and presentation of all Hotel accounting. This includes all financial reports, annual hotel budgets, operating budgets, cashflows and financial forecasts as well as monthly financial report.
Practice effective balance sheet management and ensure reconciliation鈥檚 are completed monthly.
