As a Seasonal Camp Counselor, you are the heart of the camper experience. You鈥檒l welcome campers with energy and positivity, guide them through daily activities, and ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. This role is essential to creating lasting memories and setting the tone for a fun and impactful camp season.

- Support a welcoming atmosphere for all campers ages 7-12.
- Build positive relationships through effective communication and active participation in camp activities.
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and team-building exercises.
- Ensure the safety and enjoyment of campers during all activities.
- Work collaboratively with fellow counselors and camp leadership to coordinate and execute daily activities.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share insights.
- Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure camp environment.
- Monitor campers for signs of discomfort, illness, or emotional distress, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Pro-active communication with Resort Experience Leaders
- Greet campers each day with a warm, encouraging attitude.
- Lead and supervise camp activities, games, and programs with enthusiasm.
- Ensure camper safety at all times, including monitoring activities and enforcing camp guidelines.
- Foster teamwork, inclusion, and respect among campers.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help campers build confidence and friendships.
- Communicate clearly with campers, fellow counselors, and camp leadership.
- Respond calmly and professionally to camper needs, concerns, or conflicts.
- Stay attentive, engaged, and camper-focused throughout each shift.
