We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Captain to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As an F&B Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our service team.
- Greet and interact with guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professional
- Proper handling of cashier, ensure that all bills were correctly charged and appropriate change return to guest, for any cash payment made by guest. For credit card, e-wallet, on-line payment, ensures that correct amount entered, and all bills must be posted, closed immediately in POS upon guest鈥檚 payment received.
- Responsible to keep the work stations organized, clean, neat and required mise-en-place were ready/top-up.
- Ensure consistent high-level service and maintain customer satisfaction
- Manage staff schedules and handle operational logistics
- Liaise between the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations
- Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns efficiently
- Maintain inventory and report needs for supplies and equipment
- Train new team members and conduct regular team meetings
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols
- Assist the F&B Supervisor as required
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiative
- Ensures that working areas, furnishings and equipment are well-maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, proper functionality, safe to use and zero faulty.
- Ensures that par levels of guest鈥檚 operating supplies, f&b stock are maintained and making sure item鈥檚 availability.
- Ensures that all maintenance defects are immediately reported to the departmental managers and being followed-up with Engineering Department.
- Works in conjunction within the guidance of department manager鈥檚, in changes and ideas on operation鈥檚 best practice.
- Capable to attend guest feedback/complaints or compliment and if necessary, refer them to Supervisor/Department鈥檚 Manager on-duty for corrective action to be taken or service recovery to be taken within immediate based on case.
