We鈥檙e looking for a service-obsessed, people-first Food & Beverage leader to step into the role of Outlet Manager, owning the experience, culture, and performance of one of Toronto鈥檚 most iconic hotel bars.
This role is for a leader who knows how to balance craft and creativity with commercial excellence, who leads from the floor, and who believes unforgettable guest moments start with empowered teams.
What You鈥檒l Do:
Lead the Experience
- Own the end-to-end guest journey at Clockwork, ensuring every visit reflects Fairmont standards and the outlet鈥檚 unique personality
- Champion elevated, engaging service that turns first-time guests into regulars
- Lead by example on the floor, coaching in the moment, setting the pace, and upholding impeccable grooming and professionalism
Build an Exceptional Team
- Create a strong service culture grounded in Fairmont values: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Empowerment
- Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of leaders and service professionals
- Deliver daily pre-shifts, post-shifts, and monthly communications that inspire, inform, and align
- Develop structured training programs and an annual training calendar that builds specialists, not just staff
Drive Performance & Results
- Own guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial results, and health & safety compliance
- Analyze trends, forecasts, and performance metrics to optimize revenue, labour, and operating costs
- Partner with Culinary and Beverage leaders to enhance menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings
- Develop and execute creative promotions that elevate Clockwork鈥檚 profile and drive traffic
Own the Operation
- Ensure seamless execution of hotel and brand standards across front and back of house
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, sanitation, maintenance, and safety
- Oversee scheduling, payroll control, inventory, loss prevention, and administrative requirements
- Contribute to department budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning initiatives
Collaborate & Influence
- Work closely with the Restaurant General Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Culinary leadership, and hotel partners
- Contribute to weekly F&B planning meetings and department head forums
- Act as a brand ambassador for Clockwork and Fairmont Royal York internally and externally
