Act as the visible leader during bar service in the absence of the Assistant Manager or Manager.
Oversee the shift and allocate bar duties to team members when leadership is not present.
Represent the Bar team in operational meetings when required.
Ensure all bar opening and closing procedures are completed and all documentation is accurately recorded.
Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar and surrounding areas to Fairmont standards.
Monitor and replenish bar stock levels, placing orders as needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues to support smooth service flow.
Maintain a strong guest‑focused approach and ensure the team delivers warm, attentive bar service.
Prepare and serve drinks accurately and consistently, following brand standards.
Handle guest issues or complaints appropriately and update the Bar Manager on actions taken.
Identify opportunities to upsell beverages and support daily revenue generation.
Stay aware of daily business levels and upcoming events impacting bar service.
Take responsibility for all payments and financial transactions during the shift.
Lead pre‑shift briefings in the absence of the Assistant Manager or Manager.
