Reporting to the Restaurant Captain, Assistant Maitre鈥檇, or Maitre鈥檇, the Food & Beverage Runner ensures seamless service by delivering food and beverages to guests while supporting the wait staff. This position combines efficiency, attention to detail, and exceptional guest service to elevate every dining experience.
What you will be doing:
Guest Service & Experience
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to tables promptly and efficiently.
- Attend to guest needs proactively, answering questions about menu items, wine, and beverage offerings.
- Check guest satisfaction during service, report issues, and take appropriate actions to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor at all times.
Support for Wait Staff & Team
- Assist servers in maintaining smooth operations on the restaurant floor.
- Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding menu changes, special requests, and guest feedback.
- Follow instructions from the Captain, Assistant Maitre鈥檇, or Maitre鈥檇 regarding floor assignments, side duties, and service priorities.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
- Adhere to restaurant policies, service standards, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations.
