About the Role
Aliee is seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in authentic Italian pizza-making and are eager to contribute to a high-quality, evolving culinary concept.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, stretch, top, and bake Italian pizzas using traditional and/or contemporary techniques, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards
- Manage all aspects of dough production, including mixing, resting, fermentation, and storage, with a strong understanding of timing and temperature control
- Operate pizza ovens efficiently and safely, adjusting baking techniques to achieve optimal texture, flavor, and presentation
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared, stored, and used according to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper mise en place of the pizza section at all times
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Support daily kitchen operations, including prep work and service coordination, in a fast-paced environment
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members when required
- Contribute ideas for menu development, specials, and continuous improvement of pizza offerings
- Follow company policies, recipes, and standard operating procedures consistently
