Your Role in the Story
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest-facing and back-of-house areas at LUURA. This role ensures every space鈥攆rom lobbies and corridors to spa facilities, public restrooms, and outdoor areas鈥攎eets LUURA鈥檚 high standards, while supporting a safe, welcoming, and seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas, including lobby, lounges, corridors, garden areas, pool area, public restrooms, offices and spa area.
- Ensure back-of-house areas such as staircases, locker rooms, and service corridors are clean, organized, and safe.
- Keep trolleys neat, fully stocked, and ready with guest supplies, cleaning materials, linen, and towels.
- Maintain pantries and workstations in a clean and organized state at all times.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure all areas meet LUURA鈥檚 operational standards and aesthetics.
- Identify maintenance needs, report them promptly to supervisors, and follow up until resolution.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries with courtesy, professionalism, and prompt action, escalating when needed.
- Ensure lost and found items are handled according to LUURA procedures and logged appropriately.
- Support other departments, such as room service or maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including preparing public areas for guest arrivals and end-of-day checks.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or damages immediately.
- Attend daily briefings and remain up-to-date on property updates, events, and guest requirements.
- Follow LUURA鈥檚 health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Demonstrate a polished and professional appearance, including full uniform, proper grooming, and attention to detail.
- Exhibit punctuality, reliability, and flexibility, including assisting with special tasks or laundry collection as required.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and motivated team environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of LUURA鈥檚 standards, amenities, and procedures to support an exceptional guest experience.
- Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service that aligns with LUURA鈥檚 hospitality culture and brand DNA.
Who We鈥檙e Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or public area maintenance within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural team and support smooth operations across departments.
- Physically fit and capable of performing all required tasks safely and effectively.
