Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stewarding Supervisor to lead stewarding operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchens, outlets, and back-of-house areas. This role is essential in supporting smooth kitchen operations and maintaining compliance with hotel standards and local health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations across all kitchens and food & beverage outlets
Lead, train, and schedule the stewarding team to ensure adequate coverage at all times
Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and service items
Monitor correct usage, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals in line with safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas, waste management, and recycling systems
Support kitchen and F&B teams during operations, banquets, and events
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards
Report maintenance issues and ensure equipment is in good working condition
Control inventory of stewarding supplies and minimize breakage and wastage
