As a Laundry Washperson, your care and attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens, contributing directly to a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Separate and wash all laundry
- Efficiently load and unload machines based on volume requirements
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department
- Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)
- Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
- Other duties as assigned
