What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow Front Office policies, procedures and service standards
- Welcoming tour guests, making necessary welcome arrangements.
- Dealing with mass check in and check outs for tour groups
- Acting as a liason between Tours and other departments within the hotel
- Liaise with tour directors, creating and maintaining a positive relationship between the hotel and tour guests
- Ensure all rooming lists are entered in a timely manner and tour room assignments are reviewed prior to the tour arrival
- Maintaining the tour email inbox, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries
- Promptly and pleasantly handle phone calls and guest messages
- Process and balance postings for each shift
- Maintain Company issued float and balance for each shift
- Ensure that the Tour Desk is appropriately supplied and stocked at all times
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
