Director of Venues

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, your essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Restaurant Executive Chef to ensure flawless operations, while driving innovative promotions, menus, and special events that enhance guest experiences and increase revenue. Continuously introducing new ideas and activations to maintain a competitive and exciting dining atmosphere.
- Leading the recruitment, training, and mentorship of staff, cultivating a positive, high-performance work environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Conducting thorough performance evaluations and providing meaningful, constructive feedback to develop team capabilities and uphold the highest service standards.
- Empowering colleagues to promptly address and resolve guest concerns, ensuring that all service delivery aligns with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards and reinforces the outlet鈥檚 commitment to excellence.
- Strategically positioning the restaurant as a top dining choice in both Edmonton and Canada, driving recognition and patronage.
- Overseeing the outlet鈥檚 financial performance by adhering to established budgetary guidelines for labor, productivity, revenue, and expenses. Actively participating in the budgeting and forecasting process to align with broader financial goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
