Our Ambassador will:
- Support Senior Pastry Chefs: Assist the Pastry Chef de Partie and Executive Pastry Chef in daily pastry and dessert preparation, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high productivity.
- Maintain Luxury Standards: Prepare and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to Sofitel鈥檚 five-star standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
- Pastry Production: Prepare, bake, and finish items such as breads, cakes, tarts, and plated desserts with precision and attention to detail.
- Quality & Consistency: Ensure all pastry items meet taste, texture, and presentation expectations while maintaining consistency across all outlets.
- Hygiene & Food Safety: Follow strict HACCP and hotel hygiene procedures; maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section at all times.
- Stock & Cost Control: Assist in checking ingredient quality, monitoring stock levels, minimizing waste, and reporting needs to the Pastry Chef.
- Learning & Development: Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn advanced pastry techniques while upholding Sofitel鈥檚 brand values of excellence and elegance.
