Position Overview
The Hostess supports the Food & Beverage team in delivering an exceptional dining experience within the restaurant of a five-star luxury hotel. Acting as the first point of contact for guests, the Hostess plays a key role in creating a warm, elegant, and professional welcome while ensuring smooth restaurant operations and optimal guest flow.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, Maître d’, and service team, the Hostess contributes to maintaining the highest standards of service, organization, and guest satisfaction in a prestigious luxury hospitality environment.
This role is ideal for a service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality excellence.
Main Activities
The Hostess will support the daily front-of-house operations of the restaurant, ensuring a flawless guest experience.
• Welcome guests in a courteous, professional, and personalized manner, reflecting the standards of a five-star luxury hotel.
• Coordinate with the Head Hostess reservations, seating plans, and guest flow to optimize table turnover while maintaining service quality.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Maître d’, and service staff to ensure seamless operations during service periods.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well attended from arrival.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and preferences with discretion and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in the booking system.
• Monitor waiting times and communicate clearly with guests during peak service hours.
• Support the management of VIP guests and special occasions, ensuring personalized service delivery.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant reception and entrance areas.
• Assist in handling guest feedback, comments, or complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hotel service standards, grooming guidelines, and brand values.
• Collaborate with the wider F&B team to support service excellence and guest satisfaction.
