The Role
As Director of Security, you will be the guardian of safety, privacy, and trust across Faena Wadi Safar. You will lead all security and safety operations during pre-opening and ongoing operations, ensuring a secure environment for guests, residents, colleagues, and partners鈥攚ithout ever compromising warmth, elegance, or discretion.
As a Saudi National, you will play a critical role in regulatory alignment, local stakeholder engagement, and cultural fluency, acting as a trusted authority and ambassador for the property.
What You Will Create
A Culture of Discreet Protection
Establish a security philosophy that balances vigilance with hospitality, ensuring protection is felt but never seen.
Embed security awareness into daily operations while maintaining a welcoming, unobtrusive guest experience.
Protect VIPs, high-profile guests, and cultural events with professionalism and discretion.
Pre-Opening & Operational Readiness
Lead the full security pre-opening journey, including risk assessments, staffing, SOPs, and systems readiness.
Oversee installation, testing, and operation of CCTV, access control, and monitoring systems.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, IT, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of security systems.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, Civil Defense, and local authority requirements.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, crisis management protocols, and evacuation procedures.
Conduct regular drills, inspections, and audits to maintain preparedness and resilience.
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and lead a highly disciplined and service-oriented security team.
Foster a culture of accountability, calm leadership, and ethical conduct.
Support Saudization objectives through talent development and succession planning.
Stakeholder & Community Partnership
Act as the primary liaison with local authorities, Civil Defense, and security partners.
Support major events, performances, and cultural activations with tailored security planning.
Build trust-based relationships with ownership, Diriyah stakeholders, and the wider community.
