Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis I to join our culinary team. As a Commis I, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and chef instructions
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies, ensuring adequate inventory for daily operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation
- Support senior chefs in menu planning and food presentation
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings and team meetings
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of ingredients
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items as directed
- Perform basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
