What you will be doing:
Reporting to the F&B Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist guests with menu items and make recommendations
- Sell and up-sell food and beverage items in a positive manner
- Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods
- Deliver and present food items to guest tables
- Process guest checks efficiently
- Bus and re-set tables
- Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties
- Handle guest concerns and recoveries according to brand standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
- Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected
- Other duties as assigned.
