- Manage and process room reservations efficiently using reservation management systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all bookings
- Develop and implement effective sales techniques and strategies to maximize room revenues and occupancy rates
- Maintain and update the corporate database with guest information, ensuring all records are current, accurate, and accessible for future reference
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, demonstrating empathy and commitment to guest satisfaction
- Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts, occupancy reports, and revenue projections to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient delivery of reservation services
- Review guest history and special instructions before creating guest folios, particularly for regular and VIP clients
- Monitor and manage corporate account numbers on guest folios to track business generated through respective companies
- Apply discounts and corporate rates in accordance with company policy while maintaining transparency and consistency
- Supervise and delegate tasks to reservation associates, providing guidance and support to enable effective performance
- Ensure all reservations are recorded according to standard procedures and company protocols
- Identify cost-effective resource utilization opportunities and educate the team on best practices
- Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by management, demonstrating flexibility and resilience
- Maintain accurate positioning of the hotel in terms of occupancy and room availability
