Join our team as a Yard Scrap Auditor in Hamilton, where you鈥檒l spend the majority of your time hands-on in the yard, inspecting and verifying materials to ensure everything meets our quality standards. You鈥檒l also spend some time (about 20%) in the office, helping with documentation, tracking, and reporting鈥攕o no two days are the same!

What you're responsible for:
- Identifying inbound material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loads
- Effectively and successfully training productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection Team
- Facilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient manner
- Performing Daily Checks (Pile Quality, Truck Inspection, Gate Cleanliness, Overnight Loads)
- Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specifications
- Coordinating quick action for loads that need to be sorted and dealt with in a timely fashion
- Communicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductions
- Assisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and procedures
- Reviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are met
