We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage, the Food & Beverage Manager supports directing the Food & Beverage strategy of the hotel while supporting the Food & Beverage day-to-day tasks. The Food & Beverage Manager assures the hotel service is true to the SLS brand by fostering a team culture in which its members feel empowered to make decisions and take responsibility for their workload and professional development.
- Drive revenue through strategic management of commercial initiatives with the Director of Food & Beverage.
- Take responsibility for the branding (in accordance with SLS鈥檚 brand), revenue and management of food & beverage colleagues in partnership with the food & beverage leaders.
- Ensures that regular, on-going communication occurs in all areas of food and beverage.
- Inspire staff, provide guidance and training, and address any performance issues.
- Contribute to the hiring process, conduct performance appraisals, and make personnel-related decisions.
- Collaborate on financial forecasting and budgeting for the department. Analyzes financial reports and statements to evaluate Food and Beverage performance relative to budgetary targets.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor pricing, and sales strategies to inform decision-making.
- Support the Director of Food and Beverage in various administrative tasks, including departmental reports and strategic planning.
- Assists in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets.
- Establishes clear expectations and holds the food and beverage leadership team accountable for exemplifying desired service standards.
- Facilitates the integration of new hires into the department through orientation programs and tailored training initiatives to enable successful job performance.
